PROJECT SUMMARY
Turning 30 Years of Impact Into a Digital Story
Annual reports often struggle to balance data, storytelling, and audience engagement. Teach For America needed a way to communicate decades of impact without relying on the dense, report-driven formats that readers frequently overlook.
I partnered with the organization to transform impact reporting into a more immersive digital experience. Through a combination of narrative structure, visual storytelling, and interactive content, I designed a responsive microsite that helped audiences explore program outcomes, community impact, and individual success stories in a way that felt intuitive and inspiring.
The experience used progressive disclosure and scroll-based storytelling to reveal information naturally, guiding readers through key moments while allowing them to dive deeper into topics that mattered most to them. Every design decision focused on making complex information easier to understand while preserving the emotional resonance behind the numbers.
Over several years, I continued supporting the organization through the design of annual and milestone reports, including its 35th Anniversary publications for Greater New Orleans and Greater Baton Rouge. Together, these projects helped establish a consistent and engaging approach to communicating impact across both digital and print platforms.
The result was a reporting ecosystem that elevated organizational storytelling, turning data into narratives that connected more effectively with donors, educators, community leaders, and supporters.
